Follow this 5-step tutorial to install Printery, configure CMYK, bleed, crop marks, and DPI, then export a print-ready PDF directly from Figma.
Open Figma and go to Resources → Plugins → Search "Printery". Click "Install" to add the plugin to your workspace. It's free to install — no account required.
Install Printery →In your Figma file, select the frame(s) you want to export for print. These can be individual pages, spreads, or any frame that contains your print design.
Tip: Name your frames clearly (e.g., "Business Card - Front", "Brochure - Page 1"). This makes it easier to identify them in the export panel.
Right-click → Plugins → Printery, or use the Resources panel. The plugin panel will open showing your selected frames and export settings.
Set up your export for professional print production:
Set bleed (standard: 3mm / 0.125") and enable crop marks for your printer. Use Bleed & Crop Marks as your reference if you're unsure.
Enable CMYK conversion and select your ICC profile (ISO Coated v2 for most projects). See the CMYK Export guide for color-management details.
Set to 300 DPI for commercial printing. Run the DPI verification check to catch low-res images.
Click "Export PDF" and Printery will generate a press-ready PDF with all your settings applied. The file is ready to send directly to your print shop.
✅ Your PDF includes: CMYK colors, embedded ICC profile, bleed areas, crop marks, and 300 DPI images — everything your printer needs.
Install Printery and export your first print-ready PDF in under 5 minutes.
